My Modern Companion provides non-medical companionship and lifestyle support. This page helps families understand what that means.
What we may provide
Depending on individual fit and agreement, visits may include conversation, shared interests, outings, technology coaching, gentle activity, planning, errands completed together, and non-medical lifestyle support.
What we do not provide
- Nursing, medical treatment, diagnosis, therapy, or clinical supervision
- Medication management, injections, medication preparation, or medication administration
- Hands-on personal care, bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, or lifting
- Emergency response, continuous supervision, or crisis care
- Guaranteed transportation or driving services
When needs change
If a person’s needs move outside this scope, My Modern Companion will communicate clearly and may recommend discussing the appropriate level of support with a qualified provider or clinician.
